Square body fuses are a perfect solution for the applications that require a compact design and excellent reliability performance. Square body fuses have a variety of installation methods. There are two main installation methods for square fuses in Europe, one is the blade type and the other is the DIN type. These two installation methods are mainly derived from German standards.

Unlike the blade-type fuse that needs to be used with a matching base, DIN type square body fuses are specially designed to mount the fuse with busbar directly. It provides optimal circuit protection for power semiconductor applications with DIN blade mounting and visual indicators.
